Introduction to SDU-ANU Joint Science College
SDU-ANU Joint Science College (JSC) is a Sino-foreign cooperative education institution approved by the Ministry of Education of People’s Republic of China to carry out undergraduate education program (Ministry of Education License No.: MOE37AUA02DNR20191974N). JSC is affiliated to Shandong University, and is an educational entity without corporate capacity. It is located at Shandong University, Weihai.
The partner universities to jointly establish JSC are Shandong University (SDU) and Australian National University (ANU). JSC offers four undergraduate majors, namely Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Applied Physics, Applied Chemistry and Biological Science. Based on SDU-ANU’s traditional strong disciplines, JSC introduces the teaching model, curriculum system and teaching resources from Australian National University, and adopts an international advanced educational concept and evaluation standards of teaching quality so as to create excellent teaching conditions and strong international atmosphere. It also supports and encourages students to pursue interdisciplinary learning and individualized development to become elites with an international outlook, innovative and practical capability. In addition, JSC is committed to preparing graduates to continue their studies in prestigious universities around the world and to improve their global employability.
