Ben Andrews
Personal Information
Ben Andrews is professor of mathematics at ANU and an Australian Research Council Australian Laureate Fellow. He completed his PhD at ANU in 1993 under the supervision of Gerhard Huisken, and joined the faculty of Stanford University as a Szegö Assistant Professor and then a tenure-track Assistant Professor, before returning to ANU in 1998 to take up a QEII research fellowship. He was awarded the Medal of the Australian Mathematical Society in 2003, and was elected to the Australian Academy of Sciences in 2013. His research concerns partial differential equations, differential geometry and geometric analysis.
