On April 28, 2022, a recruitment webinar on life on ANUcampus and coved-19prevention and control was held by Australia National University and SUD-ANU Joint Science College via Zoom Webinar. Prof. Chang Xiaomei, Vice Dean of JSC, Ms.Wang Wei, DeputyParty Dean of JSC, Ms.Nicki Middleton, ANU Chief Residential Services and Operating Officer, Dr. James Brann, ANUDirector of University Experience, Ms. Ellin Bye, Deputy Manager of student Services of ANU College of Science, Mr. Jay Poria, Head of International Relations and Partnerships of ANUCollege of Science and Ms. Zhou Junxia attended the recruitment webinar. Mr. Arthur Xu, Regional Manager ofInternational Relations and Partnerships of ANU College of Science hosted the meeting. The students and their parents from 2019 and 2020cohorts joined the webinar.
In the webinar, Arthur introduced ANU student support services including the students’ career care, ESL group, and international student support; Dr. James Brann illustrated the facilities and welfare the students are to get at ANU; Ms. Nicki Middleton presented the Covid-19 prevention and control policy and measures on campus; Ms. Ellin Bye introduced the student support services for SDU-ANUJoint Science College students, such as pick-up service and orientation. In the end, Liao Zheng, one often the undergraduate student shared his learning and living experiences at ANU.

This online recruitment webinar has presented the students and parents with the teaching facilities, student support services and on-campus environment at ANU. It has promoted communication and exchange between the students, the parents, and the college. It will play an important role in promoting the college's commitment to creating a new model of talent fostering in the future and promoting the Chinese-foreign cooperation in education to a new height. It will also play a positive role in promoting the international exchanges and cooperation between Shandong University and Australian National University.
