Jointly established by the mathematics program of two universities, the major of Mathematics and Applied Mathematics introduces the core curriculum system from Australian National University. It not only focuses on the education of theoretical knowledge and the cultivation of application and innovation ability, but also encourages students to think critically and logically. After studying for four years, students are expected to become qualified talents with application abilities, possess strong scientific literacy and innovation capabilities, and have the abilities of building mathematical models and using computers to solve practical problems.
