Liu Yifan, a sophomore from JSC, winner of 2020 National Scholarship
“The study of natural science is like dual tracks of academic study and scientific research training.” Yifan has been practising this idea on his learning journey in the past two years. He ranked first in his major in the first year, with an average GPA of 93.73, and was awarded the SDU first prize for academic learning as a result. Meanwhile, he applied for the undergraduate scientific research project. Besides, he has organised a team to prepare for the Challenge Cup this semester, and become a research assistant to the 12th undergraduate scientific research project of SDUW. He is moving forward step by step on the path of scientific research.
