On April 23 and 24, 2021, the enrollment team of the SDU-ANU Joint Science College went to some high schools in Qingdao and participated in the enrollment promotion activity organised by Sina Education.
To the site of the enrollment consultation at the International Exchange Center of Qingdao University were attracted such famous middle schools as Qingdao No. 1 Middle School, Qingdao No. 2 Middle School, Qingdao No. 58 Middle School, Qingdao No. 3 Middle School, Qingdao Experimental Senior High School, Qingdao No. 17 Middle School, Qingdao No. 39 Middle School, Jiaozhou No. 1 Middle School, Jimo No. 1 Middle School, Jimo Experimental Middle School, Pingdu No. 1 Middle School and Qingdao No. 67 Middle School. The total number of parents present exceeded 2,000.
At the site of Qingdao No. 2 Middle School and Qingdao No. 9 Middle School the atmosphere of enrollment consultation was lively. The candidates and their parents showed great interests and asked questions actively. The enrollment team members answered questions patiently, gave advice upon request, and fully exchanged views with the candidates and their parents on issues such as subject setting, college cultural environment, admissions in previous years and cooperation with ANU.
Since the founding of the college, different measures have been taken to promote the enrollment work. This event has help enhance close contact with the famous middle schools within Shandong Province and students’ understanding of the college. It has laid a solid foundation for recruiting excellent students.
