Zhang Haisheng, postdoctor of Harvard University, is the founder and CEO of Signet Therapeutics, a cancer targeted drug research and development Co. By telling their own experiences they demonstrated to the students how to plan well for future development while studying hard at university. Haisheng introduced his company’s history, operating model and global layout. He advised the students to cherish the university time, try to enhance their overall abilities and take the initiative to plan for their future careers. Yujiao recalled her memories of happy time at the university, and then shared her studying and living experience as a doctor at Carolinska Medical College. She stressed the importance of interests in and enthusiasm about studies and work one is engaged in. Both the alumni’s rich experiences and sharing have widened the students’ vision of career world and brought about such questions from the listeners as how to plan for the current study and how to get used to university life abroad. Their frank and friendly answers were responded frequently with warm applause.
After the event, the students said that they have learnt a lot from the good examples set by the two alumni. They will set a clearer goal for their university life and have a deeper insight into their career path and prospects.
